I'm not just someone who books travel,…I’m someone who Lives it — and has for nearly four decades!

Hi, I’m Erinn Willems of Monarch Travels LLC.

I have 30+ years experience as a travel agent, and I have had the pleasure of traveling the world for over 40 years. My adventures are a large part of who I am, and the experiences have defined me. I love nothing more than being immersed into a culture and leave truly changed by the experience.  Broadening our horizons and exposing ourselves to the world impacts us in immeasurable ways. Vacationing is the amazing "reset" we can give ourselves. There is nothing like taking off and leaving the cares of "adulting" for another day. Traveling with family and friends is my favorite trip. The destination doesn't matter. The memories made and the experiences shared are priceless. I encourage everyone to invest in your memories with the ones you love.  Travel creates unique shared experiences that are such a strong foundation to relationships. I thrive on it!

My love of travel began at a young age and has taken me from the Amazon rainforest and Machu Picchu to South Africa, India, the Caribbean, and the Himalayas of Nepal, where I lived for seven months and organized a 16-day trek to Everest Base Camp. These experiences have shaped my appreciation for different cultures, broadened my perspective, and inspired a lifelong passion for exploring the world.

I love both the thrill of adventure and the elegance of luxury travel, from romantic rail journeys and historic hotels to best in dining and relaxation. In my spare time, I love photography, hiking, and lifting weights in the gym. The mountains of western North Carolina are my playground, and I immerse myself in them as much as possible.
