Hi! My name is Mayra Taylor and I am the owner of Barefoot Travels LLC. based in the beautiful mountain city of Asheville North Carolina.

I'm not just someone who books travel,…I’m someone who Lives it — and has for nearly four decades!

Every destination I recommend, I've either visited myself, or am deeply familiar with through the trusted network of partners I've built over a lifetime in this industry.

When I am not planning your vacation, I am indulging in my hobbies of Watercolor Painting, Journaling, and playing with my dogs and cat.

Cruises are my specialty (and my favorite!), but whether you're planning a relaxing beach getaway, a bucket-list adventure, or a family vacation, I'm here to make the process easy and stress-free. I'll handle the planning, research, and details so you can focus on the excitement of your upcoming trip. Hi, I’m Erinn Willems of Monarch Travels LLC.

I have 30+ years experience as a travel agent, and I have had the pleasure of traveling the world for over 40 years. My adventures are a large part of who I am, and the experiences have defined me. I love nothing more than being immersed into a culture and leave truly changed by the experience.  Broadening our horizons and exposing ourselves to the world impacts us in immeasurable ways. Vacationing is the amazing "reset" we can give ourselves. There is nothing like taking off and leaving the cares of "adulting" for another day. Traveling with family and friends is my favorite trip. The destination doesn't matter. The memories made and the experiences shared are priceless. I encourage everyone to invest in your memories with the ones you love.  Travel creates unique shared experiences that are such a strong foundation to relationships. I thrive on it! 

I named my agency Monarch Travel LLC after my mother's love of butterflies. It gives me such joy to celebrate her memory daily. My collaboration with Barefoot Travels LLC gives me a TON of leverage for the best pricing on behalf of my clients across all cruise lines and tour operators.
